STUDENT SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH COUNSELING SESSION IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2016-2017

In order to equip students with substantial knowledge to prepare for Student Scientific Research in the academic year 2016-2017, University of Foreign Language Studies – The University of Da Nang organized 2 Student Scientific Research Counseling Sessions. The topic of the 1st counseling session reported by Dr. Ngu Thien Hung – Dean of English Department was “Research method and approach to conducting scientific research”. The topic of the 2nd session presented by Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Ngoc Chinh – Senior lecturer of Russian Department was “Approach to writing and presenting a scientific research”.

Scientific Research Counseling Session helps student put methodology and scientific research method acquired from learning process into practice. This is one of the important processes to help students apply their knowledge to conduct cognitive activities with research nature, which is the first step to solve scientific problems from students’ lives and careers, thereby expanding and perfecting their knowledge.


Following the instruction section, teachers from the Counseling Council had noted common mistakes made by students in their scientific researches. The Council also directly counseled and answered students’ queries. The 3rd counseling session is scheduled to take place in the upcoming May before the Student Scientific Research Conference.
